Scope:

The escape game, set in the historical decor of Topkapi Palace during the 1600s when Ottoman Emperor Mehmet IV was on the throne, is designed for Taktic Escape Games, located in the 13th district of Paris. The storyline begins in a tunnel where Grand Vizier Kara Ibrahim Pasha secretly entered the Sultan’s room and concludes at the Sultan’s throne. With an impressive and realistic decor, players experience an exciting adventure in the Ottoman Palace of the era.

Scenario:

A stone that never lost it’s shine amongst the dusty remnants of history: the Spoonmakers diamond … Are you ready to listen to it’s story? There are many tales about how this stone – one of the most valuable and famous diamonds ever known – came to be at the hands of the Ottoman Empire. One well known rumour is that it was found by a spoon- maker going through the trash. Another ene is that it was sold to an Ottoman General who happened to be in France by Napoleon’s very own Mother.

One thing that is common in all these stories is that the stone was eventually captured by the Grand Vizier who was well known fer his intellect and schemes. And once the Grand Vizier took the stone into his possession, he killed every single person who knew about it. Soon however, Sultan Mehmet IV, who had spies in every corner of the Empire, found out about this treason. in order to prove this treacherous act, he sent out an edict to a top secret intelligence service called ‘the Shadows.’ The Game Master hands out a sealed scroll to each player dressed in a black cape. The players break the seal to find the edict of Sultan Mehmet IV.
