Scope:
The escape game designed for Taktic Escape Games, located in the 13th district of Paris, takes place inside a gothic reconstruction of Notre Dame Cathedral. The attic, dimly lit by candlelight and where Nicolas Flamel hid his secret alchemical formulas, offers players an immersive atmosphere. The game area consists of sections such as the library, the attic, and the storage room. The experience includes high-quality cathedral-themed game elements and electro-mechanical systems such as the Birdcage, Antique Clock, Coffins, and Bookshelf.
Scenario:
After years of patient waiting, the Gothic walls of Notre Dame Cathedral are once again illuminated by candlelight, and whispers rise from the corridors all the way up to the attic. This sacred place was not just a structure of stone but also a living ancient book. Over the centuries, those who knew how to read it gained access to life’s deepest secrets. The most precious of these secrets was the formula for immortality. But when the famous alchemist Nicolas Flamel discovered this formula, he was horrified and refused to use it. Instead, he carved his discovery of immortality into the ancient walls of the attic. Years after his death, this hidden message was found, and a secret cult seized the formula for immortality. Ever since that unknown date, the few remaining members of this cult have remained alive, repeating the immortality ritual every year. Calling themselves the Cult of Eternity, these people never hesitated to perform the very ritual that horrified Mr. Flamel. To extend their lives by just one more year, they sacrifice people in a horrifying manner. Tonight, a new ritual will take place, and the victims will be some of you. Before the ritual begins, you must rescue your chosen friends and escape the Cathedral before the great bell rings. Otherwise, all of you will be sacrificed.
